2-3 Students Needed for Ugandan Asylum Case

Professor Haynes is seeking 2-3 students to work with her and two area lawyers (one an alum and the other with a local NGO) on a Ugandan asylum case. Students would work primarily researching country conditions and helping to prepare the client for her hearing. The bulk of the work need to be completed by the end of February, so interested students should expect to work 15 hours per week until the end of February. If you are interested, please contact Professor Haynes at dhaynes@nesl.edu by Wednesday, Feb. 3rd, highlighting any background with immigration, refugee and asylum law, or Ugandan politics.
